The Kickoff meeting of the project Caliber (CompAct eye-safe LIdar source for AirBorne lasER scanning) was successfully completed via teleconference, the 23rd of November 2017, with participation of team members from Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, Politecnico di Torino, Tampere University of Technology and Ben Gurion University.
The aim of the new project was reviewed alongside project objectives and planning. Financial and administrative procedures were also addressed. Each partner was given the opportunity to present his/her institution: activities, facilities, peoples appointed to the project and main tasks in the project.
CALIBER is a two years project funded by NATO – Science for Peace and Security Programme, that addresses NATO’s key priority of current and future security allowing for early hazard detection, protection of strategic infrastructures and general security of borders (land and sea).
